S-Video or Seperate-Video is a common analogue video connection and a perceivable step up in performance from the standard 'composite video'. S-Video gets its name from the use of different conductors for both luminance (Y) and colour (C) information, hence 'Seperate Video'.

The Cinema IQ S-Video interconnect utilizes the same high quality cable geometry as the rest of the IQ range, and a notable step up from the average S-Video cable. The twin parallel design ensures that each channel (Y & C) travels through its own full sizes coaxial cable, providing best picture quality with support for analogue or digital 480/576 SD resolution.
