SCART - YCbCR + audio
  

description

SCART is a European standard which allows both analogue audio and video to be transmitted through one connection. As not many AV devices support this connection, it usually has to be adapted to more common audio and video connections.

Cinema IQ offer a SCART cable adapted to high resolution component video + stereo audio cable. This offers interconnectivity between a SCART equipped device and a standard YCbCr + audio device. The most common example is from the SCART output of a Pace/Foxtel box (with “YUV” firmware support) to the AV inputs of a plasma or LCD. The switch on the SCART shell permits user selectable directionality, changing the signal flow either from or to the SCART.
