Component Video is a high quality analogue video connection, capable of passing high definition signals to the latest flat panel and projector displays. You may also hear the term of YCrCb or YPbPr when referring to component video, as this is the type of signal that is carried. Component video uses three seperate conductors - 2 for colour & 1 for luminance information.

The Cinema IQ component video interconnects feature SureGrip™ 24k gold plated RCA connectors, high flexibility double shielded coaxial cable with pure OFC core and a low capacitance PE dielectric. Resolution of up to 1080HD interlaced video or progressive scan is supported.
