A coax, or coaxial digital cable, is a single core cable designed to
carry a high-bandwidth electrical signal. This bandwidth gives the capability
of carrying many forms of digital audio, including CD-Audio, Dolby Digital®
or DTS®. Commonly configured as a single RCA connector on each end
of a well-shielded cable.
The Cinema IQ coaxial digital audio interconnect conforms to the requirements of the S/PDIF standard, being 75ohm coaxial construction, enhanced with pure OFC core and double shielding, terminated with high quality SureGrip™ RCA connectors. Available in a wide range of lengths as it can also be used for a high quality composite video cable.
