Composite AV is just a shortened name for composite video plus stereo audio. Both formats have been with us for years, and will remain so for the forseeable future. Composite receives its name from combining luminance and colour information in one conductor. Stereo audio provides seperate conductors for left and right channel information.

Cinema IQ has combined 75ohm composite video with the convenience of stereo audio in the one triple parallel design, perfect for the connection of a mulititude of SD source devices to the standard AV inputs of most TVs/displays. SureGrip™ RCA connectors are used throughout, and quality construction make for a noticable step-up from the 'free-in-the-box' solutions
